AACN Joins the Nursing Community Coalition's Call to Protect Immigrant Children's Health

In response to the issue of immigrant children being separated from their parents at our nation's borders, AACN has joined with the Nursing Community Coalition to send the letter below to the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security requesting immediate action be taken to address this healthcare concern.

AACN and 32 additional national nursing organizations鈥攔epresenting a cross-section of nursing education, research, practice, and regulation鈥攔emain concerned that this policy is detrimental to the health of immigrant children.
